      Name

      Delpiero for here

Abilities(what you can do, how often lucid.

AP : I also consider as remote viewing. But the forum definition could work.
DS : Happened rarely, but I know how.
      DILD : Almost at will
LD : 99% of the time
MILD : if I need to, but I know how to show someone to do it.
SP : ACK ! I wish no adopte lives it ! But it happened to me often.
WILD : I used to when I was a rookie.

      Interests

Form a group of elite Oneironauts

      Goals

Accelerate my researches about inter-connection between dreamers

Amount of time you've been having lucid dreams

      15 years, since May 2007.

When you are usually available to answer questions

I can be reached anytime by msn, but would be more available on weekends.

and anything else you can think of that is relevant.

I have my own research going on since the past 15 years based on the work of 2 different Europeans Scientist : Aimé Michel and Van Hoff’t

For a quick background I started to LD at 16 yrs old when I was in a juvenile jail for 2 months and I read that Book of Aimé Michel and Van Hoff’t. Since there was nothing else to do the dreaming part was for me the way to be free.

So in those 2 months I did LD, Premonitroy dreams, Controlled dreams and AP.

15 years after I know most of them and now Im just starting (since the past 2 years) to get what I call "inter-connection" between people all over the world.

Im looking for any type of adopte, I also would like to have an exchange with the most experienced dreamers around here, see if we could conduct somekind of scientific research.

Thumbs up Available to adopt a dreamer

      Hello!

Are you looking for a mentor? I am looking for one or two people to "adopt."

Here's what I'd expect my ideal adoptee to be like:
      1. You are 17 years old or older.
      2. You believe you have some potential for lucid dreaming but have had limited experience.
      3. You are a good communicator and don't have a problem sharing your emotions.
      4. You have a deep enough and long-lasting enough appreciation of the subject that you expect to be interested for the foreseeable future. (This won't be a passing fad for you).
      5. You have healthy skepticism and a critical logical mind -- you think for yourself and keep an open mind.
      6. You do not attach the subject of lucid dreaming to mystical practices, religion, or the paranormal. You take it for what it is: the subconscious, dreaming, brainwork, entertainment, and inner-reflection.
      7. You do not suffer from severe depression, schizophrenia, or anything that might impair our communication and focus on lucid dreaming.
      8. Artistic types are especially appreciated.

      About Me
I am a 43-year-old composer/musician. I am married and live with my wife of four years with our two cats. I'm a programmer by day, and spend most of my free time writing music.

I had my first lucid dream 10 or 15 years ago after seeing a program on television about it. At first they were very rare, but eventually they started coming more often. I most typically LD via the DILD technique, but have had a few WILDs from time to time. My DILDs are often instant flashes of realization, as opposed to using a reality-check, thought I've been trying more and more lately to remember those checks.

I am agnostic with strong leanings towards atheism. I mention this only in case this is a problem for you. (It does not bother me if you believe in God.) I also do not believe in shared-dreaming, though I'd love for it to be possible.

I am friendly, like to be helpful, and am very easy to talk to. Until very recently, I was the only person I knew who had ever had a lucid dream, so I am very excited by the prospect of sharing the experiences with others. If you think you'd like to be "adopted," and that I'd make a good mentor for you, please send me a private message, and let's start talking!

      - Jamie

What techniques I can teach you:
      DILDs

      Keeping Clarity
      Dream Sharing

      Summoning people
Blowing stuff up with your mind
      Creating monsters
      Much, much more...

      My lucid dreaming backround:

I am a natural lucid dreamer and have had lucids my whole life. I have DILDs almost every night without even trying to have them. Because of this, I am very experienced and can control virtually every element of my dreams. The main reason that I want to adopt someone, is so that I can teach them my vast array of in-dream skills. If you want to learn a new skill, I can try it out in my dreams, and then tell you how I did it.

      Looking to adopt:

I guess I'm up to be adopted! I'm young..hehe. Age is so limiting so I won't say it!

But, I'm willing to put forth the effort to Lucid Dream every night! I have studied psionics for over a year, so my dedication is there! I know this is something I will stick with till I get, and I'm very excited to begin the journey. The fact that I'm into metaphysical things might turn off a few people, but I don't understand why it should. I will NOT bring any of those things up as this is strictly for lucid dreaming! Just wanted to get that cleared up, hehe.

I've never had a lucid dream yet that I remember, but that is just making my excitement grow, and I'm gaining more and more motivation every day.

I want to learn FIld, Wild, and Dild....but I will ultimately choose the one that gives me the best chance of having a lucid on my command, of course!

      Thanks,
      Brandon

Oh and btw, I can find a cool avatar in a snap, haha!

      Maybe I am the Newb

I mean I only found this sight a few days ago so the workings of it are still to be learned. Heck I do not know how people contact eachother but some of you may be able to learn a bit from me. Here we go, if I remember the basic format.
How long have I had LDs: 22 years, but I believe in past lives, so maybe much much longer.

How many lucid dreams?: Heck that is like asking an older married man how many times he has had sex. Lets say 20-200 a year for 22 years so maybe it is fair to say at least 500 but who knows maybe 1000.

Dream skills: I will tell you details about each skill and how I personally learned it, not just brag that I can do it (if you ask). Many skills,,some of which are, full access to all 5 senses in dream, flying, moving through walls, standing on the ceiling, telekinetics, levitation, changing size(not mastery level), waking myself by choice, I also have alot to say about very strange things some of you will doubt can be real such as contact with 'alien' dreamers, as in unknown entities that will help me.

Things about me: I am a successful adult with a doctorate, I am a trained martial artist, I know alot about energy and meditation. I follow a spiritual path while not being of one religion.

Since i am new to this sight, you might seek out some one who has more experiance with the forums and has read the tutorials, I may not know what someone means if it comes from the tutorials. However feel free to contact me or just make comments for me on a thread I post on. For the moment I am just finding my way around. See you all around the sight.
Peace Be With You. Oh, and sure, The Force too, why not.

Hey everyone, I have a quick technical question - potential adoptees are to have been on this site for at least two weeks, right? How do we tell how long we've been here? I can't seem to remember when I joined up, the past few weeks are a haze of Summer nonsense.

I honestly can't remember if I've done this before, but I'm back open for adoption now and it would have been a good year since if I did.

      Name - Alex

Abilities - I'm lucid several times a week, they last a good long while and I have pretty much total control, so all good on that front.

Interests - Oh, music, art, photography, dreams, the usual really.

Goals - Up until recently it was to get good at lucid dreaming again, I've done that now, so I suppose my next big goal is to help others. I taught myself to LD before I joined to site, god knows I could have used the help at the time.

Amount of time you've been having lucid dreams - About 4 years I think.

When you are usually available to answer questions - I keep my computer on a DV a lot, so usually afternoon to night GMT.

And anything else you can think of that is relevant - I'm looking for someone really devoted to this place, I've adopted twice in the past and they both quickly left DV.

Heya! I've been away from the boards for a while but I'm back and looking to adopt.. if you feel like you would be a good match for a tree-hugging, spiritual, open-minded, silly child in an adults body feel free to read over my profile If not then well nevermind, eh?

      Name:
      Lucius

      Dreaming 'profile':
I've been LDing for lets say about 10+ years, not counting the LDs I had as a young child. I can have a lucid dream every night, if I try to do so. If I don't try I still have them frequently a several times a week. In fact, most of my dreams occur naturally, without the application of a particular technique.

I am an explorer I hardly control anything in my dream, because I find the beauty within the dreams itself fascinating enough. In fact, control often spoils my dreams. I am one of those dreamers who never go 'by the book', as I tend to not use any techniques in particular, but rather go by gut feeling and experience. However, I am familiar with the basic techniques as described by stephen LaBerge. Most of my LDs are WILD-like.

I've had many experiences, both good and bad (lucid nightmares and such) and can relate to pretty much anything. Nothing weirds me out and I love hearing about other people's experiences So if you wish to dicuss things like astral projection/OBE with an open minded individual who tries to view things from multiple sides.. I try to be =P

      Interests:
Outdoor activity (hiking, running etc), fitness, tai chi, meditation, art, reading, personal growth and spirituality, geeky stuff. Being naked.

      Goals:
To share experience, knowledge, wisdom and beauty of dreaming and life Which is a two-way channel. To have a fun conversation!

When am I available: I usually check my messages in the morning (on a european time zone) and evening. More during the holidays, of course.

      Who am I looking for?
Somebody who wants to casually and freely discuss all the aspects of lucid dreaming, personal growth and any other area of life they desire with me I can be a teacher and a student, or just somebody to talk to ^_^ Preferbly somebody with a spiritual outlook on life. Doesn't matter if thats 'religious' or just 'spiritual'. It doesn't matter if you ever had and LD or if you had a million, as long as you have a positive attitude

Who am I -not- looking for?
      - Somebody who just wants to get lucid quickly or learn the 'golden technique'
      - A primary interest in dream control and scene manipulation
      - LDing obsessions

I'm also available for one-shot questions through PM

Adopted Lucid_Seeker so I'm currently no longer looking. However, I'm still available for one-shot quick questions through PM for those who feel the urge to ask me something.

Though we have plenty of other capable people here looking to adopt, I think?

Goals: Well I'd like to help some one get lucid, also I'd like to improve my own lucids while doing so. Also maybe make good friends with the adoptee.

      Name: Adam

Abilities: Well I have been lucid dreaming for over 10 years now. All my dreams are DILDs. I did try WILD twice, once failed, once became Lucid but unsure if that was more a WBTB. Still I like to say I am a natural Lucid dreamer, experienced, and a nice guy to chat with.

Interests: Music, sports, Snow Boarding, Travelling and I guess I have to say Dreaming.

Personal Goals: To achieve my level of lucid abilities I had before I joined this site. I used to frequently LD and had great control and clarity. After becoming aware what lucid dreaming was and finding this forum they had not been as good. Although recently they have been getting back to the level they were and now working on the frequency.

Adoptee Goals: I want to take someone who has not had any lucid dreams, and hopefully develop them to having many clear and memorable lucid dreams. And improve the overall quality of normal dreams.

Amount of time you've been having lucid dreams: Over 10 years. If I had to guess at an exact time I would say 14 years.

When you are usually available to answer questions: Being from the UK and having internet access at work from 9am GMT/BST up to late, maybe 12/1am GMT/BST. Available via email, Private Message or MSN.

Adoptee Prerequisites: A single girl, good looking, about 5'9.... Okay I am joking but I hope to adopt someone who is dedicated to lucid dreaming, and has been trying for a while. I ask that they be a regular member to the forum and have been around for a couple of months. Reason I ask this is I have dedicated a number of hours to writing my own guide to Lucid dreaming and wish to share this with a someone relatively new to to it all and develop it with their help to produce a useful guide. Thus I require someone who will listen, be dedicated, converse with me and not just try for a couple of weeks then disappear. Not really to fussed about age, but someone in late teens early twenties would be good (I am 25). Male or female would do. Preferably from the UK so we can be from the same time zone, but just has happy taking on someone further afield.

I hope to find someone easy to talk to, has no trouble articulating their thoughts, easy to get a long with and possible friendship. German speaking would be a benefit too.

If anyone is interested, please PM me. Let me know a few details about you and stuff. I will be very selective about who I choose as hope to get the right person I think I can develop, not only this guide but possible friendship too

      Adios.

      Name: Mes Tarrant

Abilities: Well looks like I can become lucid whenever I feel motivated and go to bed expecting to LD.

      Interests: You'd be surprised.

Goals: To keep improving my LD abilities! Oh and I'd like to figure out what to do after graduating college.. that would be nice...

Amount of time you've been having lucid dreams: I started to actively practice this about 4 years ago, then took a long break of at least 2 years (got busy in waking life), and I've been back for the past few months.

When you are usually available to answer questions: I check DV all the time. I'm located in the midwest of the States.. if we're not online at the same time, send me a PM and I'll reply to you as soon as I log on!

Adoptee Prerequisites: You must be a relatively active member on DV, enthusiastic about learning to LD, and have patience!

      PM me if interested!

I am looking forward to finding an adopter after my two weeks have ended. I am very excited about lucid dreaming and have been very active on the forums since my join date, I am very very very interested in lucid dreaming and it is on my mind for much of my day.

I SHALL LEARN YOU... or your money back!

I was once a noob... Maybe I still am, compared to what's possible with lucid dreaming. Yet, I've come a very long way, and would be very happy to help others get past whatever their difficulties are regarding lucid dreaming, and perhaps other things related. I'm not the best at actually lucid dreaming... yet, but I'm a veritable encyclopedia on the subject. If you're talking lucid dreaming, chances are I know what you're talking about.

      ---
NAME: My "online" name here is Richter, for a number of reasons. One, it's the name of my favorite character Richter Belmont, a slayer from Castlevania with a great backstory. Also, the Richter Scale, the measure of earthquake power. Other than here on DV, I go by Kulbara the majority of the time.
      ---
ABILITIES: I'm by far best at WILD and related methods; that is, entering LDs consciously, although I've had some DILDs here and there. Overall, my dream vividness is widely variable, but if I manage to become lucid, I'm quite good at controlling what I do and what I am. I dream about 1/3 of the time as a dragon, and the other 1/3 of the time as if I was 5 years old, so I have experience dreaming as personalities and bodies far different from the waking self. DCs and the environment are a bit trickier to change, but it's still possible. I'm also a greatly improved recaller of dreams. I started from absolutely NOTHING; now, I generally recall 1-2 vivid dreams nightly. I WILD about once every two weeks, though sometimes they don't last that long. I DILD maybe tri-monthly... I need improvement here, but I know EXACTLY what I must do to improve, at least. It's just a matter of time.

Overall, I can help with ANY aspect of LDing... I've seen it all at least once, I think.
      ---
INTERESTS: I like drawing. I should definitely do it more often, but I like it still. Music... 70's rock, techno, jazz, and disco/funk. That's pretty much it, lol. Religion, politics, technology, self-improvement, etc... I'm intersting in anything; but typically I like important things... not what celebrity married who, etc...
      ---
GOALS: I'd like to live a veritable "second life" through my lucid dreams. I'm a bit too infrequent an LDer for that quite yet, but I'll get there. My current goal is to have what I call an "uberwild", an extremely vivid, long, and controlled LD; basically, the perfect lucid dream. That's when I shall consider myself a true master of LDing.

I'm also wanting to help as many people as possible do the same, as I believe that lucid dreaming is the ultimate non-physical skill one can learn and perfect... It's uses are infinite. Plus it's just damn fun!
      ---
AMOUNT OF TIME LDING: Two years, on and off.
      ---
WHEN AM I AVAILABLE?: Practically anytime except 5-10pm central. I'm taking a break from school this semester so this is an exceptional time to adopt. I usually use MSN, but am willing to try ANY communications program, I suppose.
      ---
OTHER JUNK: I'm adopting to help others, but I honestly feel that adopting would help me as well. Having somebody to practice LDing with hopefully daily, would really be a boost for me, and force me to not be lazy. As the master teaches the student, the studen teaches the master.

      Wink Adopting LD Noobies

      Adopter Profile

      Name: Namaste
      Age: 29
      Location: UK

      Joined DV: January 2006

      Lucid Abilities: 15 Lucids (14 DILDS / 1 FILD)

I am not the most experienced LDer but I could help LD Newbies to
improve their recall and have their first few LDs. My LDs are longer
now and I can help with duration and I also now have some level of
control in my LDs so I could do my best to help you with that too.

      What I am looking for:

I could probably take on about 4 adoptees and would like two guys
and two girls. I don't mind what age you are or anything but it will
be good if you are a regular PMer and interested in working on
getting LDs (or more LDs) - it can take a bit of patience and dedication
      for some.

Would be best if you have had no LDs before or just a few, as I would be better at helping beginners.

      Contact me:

Just send me a PM about you and what level you are at with Lucid Dreaming at the moment and I will let you know if you have been
      successfully adopted.
