Hey. I am new around here and have became very interested in lucid dreaming for the last 8 months. I've had 1 real lucid dream, and many other partial lucid dreams. If anyone would adopt me I would be very happy, I need help as I want to continue lucid dreaming.

I get lucid three or four times a week at present.
I'm skilled at most aspects of dream control. My best suites are flying, transportation, special abilities such as pyrokinesis, and summoning dream characters.

Interests.
Lucid dreaming obviously. I also like shopping, watching movies and film, visual arts, graphic arts, and reading.

Goals.
My current goals are in my signature. "Lucid Accomplishments" are both the goals I've completed and everything else I've done in lucids.

Amount of time you've been having lucid dreams.
About ten months.

When you are usually available to answer questions?
Every day, usually from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM CST but sometimes earlier than that.

I can mentor in WILD, DILD, RCing, as well as dream control, although my knowledge of WILD isn't as strong as the others.

I joined at the end of July, and I joined the MILD-1 course. I have had 4 lucids. 1 wild 3 dild. And my average recall is 3 dreams per night.

Abilities(what you can do, how often lucid.) Not sure they count as abilities? Fairly decent dream recall, especially of episodes of sleep paralysis, And a few vivid dreams which i think I have been able to influence by realising it was a dream while I was in it, but with no idea how i did it. Hence why I am asking you guys I guess! Would like to understand how it all works a bit more.

Goals - If what I was doing was LD, I would like greater control of when I do it.

Basically, I've been less active on Dreamviews since I started university, but I've been lurking nearly every day and lucid dreaming non-stop. Because I haven't been posting much, I wanted to give something back to the community in general by offering some personal guidance to one or more newbies. I'll happily spend lots of time on helping out a few individuals, I just don't feel compelled to post in threads these days. Also, it'd be nice to offer advice to somebody new just because I probably would've benefited from it last year but never asked.

Abilities (what you can do, how often lucid): I get lucid through DILDs almost every night, and due to my weird schedule, get a lot of afternoon naps which turn into WILDs 90% of the time. I have experience with: Building recall, WILD, DILD, WBTB, FA's, SP, DEILD (a speciality)- however I know next to nothing about MILD. As far as dream powers goes, it varies. The staples are telekinesis and flying, but others crop up too.

Interests: Studying Psychology, so that... Gaming, technology, awesome movies, rock music, clubbing, vodka/redbulls.

Goals: Dreaming wise, I've been slacking at the task of the year. See my sig. I hope to finish it soon, although I'm running out of time!

Amount of time you've been having lucid dreams: Intentionally, since September 2009. Occasionals before that. I've gained some great experience during that time, and I'd love to pass some of it on.

I can lucid dream whenever I want if I really try, for example WBTB + MILD, but these days my count is down to 2 or 3 per week because of me being busy and not having much time to try extensive techniques.
Interests : Sports, Martial arts, gaming, movies, and dreaming.
Goals : Not really much at the time, but I want to go into space, and go to the moon, which I just am not able to do no matter how hard I try. I would also like to try shared dreaming.

If you were to hold some classes on how to negate stress for the sake of lucid dreams, I would gladly participate. But, also...how do classes even work on DV?

New here and would love to hear more about "classes" since I'm not even sure what questions to ask! haha. Will keep lurking for more info. to follow.

Based on my experience, classes usually happen in the same time frame, so there might be three separate classes going on at once, then none for another few months. Each class has an instructor, who sets the pace for the class. Generally, they "meet" once or twice a week for roughly a month or two. The meets are likely weekly IRC chatroom lecture/class sessions, and are sent to the students after it is conducted via DV. Each instructor generally posts a syllabus at the beginning, and some instructors post the IRC logs in the forum thread. There is usually some sort of exercise or goal each week to complete or focus on, and the instructor is there to help guide you. Some instructors have grading systems that mark as pass or fail, depending on your completion and/or attendance. Hope that covered it. 8)

Edit: Looking to be adopted, also. I posted a thread about three weeks ago. Really going to get serious about this, so I'm looking for somebody to help motivate me and who is looking perhaps to be motivated as well.

Well, I fit that second part, but I'm not sure how much help I'd be for the first...I won't really have time to get serious about lucid dreaming until summer vacation (2.5 months left!).
Speaking of which, I probably wouldn't be able to attend an IRC class session on DV until the summer, because right now I'm too preoccupied with school.

Amount of time you've been having lucid dreams: I'd say an hour at the most. Those were just random LD's, not DILD or MILD or anything really. Just random.

When you are usually available to answer questions: I'm irregularly online, but you can PM me anytime and I'll answer it within a day, two if I'm really busy which doesn't happen often.
