That wasn't a total failure, you almost had it. Seriously, you were really really close! The images and coke can sound were the fist stage of sleep. Hypnagogic Halucinations (pre-sleep), similar to what schizophrenics experience. |

Thanks, Cusp. |

4/20 - Got something. Took me a while to remember it, but the recall is feeling a bit easier now. With luck I'll be remembering more |
|
I'm making some genuine progress in recall. I've remembered more from the past week than most months. |

4/22. Got fairly close to WILDing, I think. I was lying totally still for maybe 15 minutes when a scene started to form in my head. It was a guy sitting in armchair, with his back to me, at a large desk with an old person sitting behind it. I tried to let the scene draw me in, I tried to stay relaxed and just go in naturally, but it started to fade when my dumbass sister flushed the toilet for about the first time in 3 years. |

4/23. It seems the constant RC technique is making my dreams much longer and vivider, which will be great if I lucid one of these nights. =D |
|
4/24 - I was really tired last night and never bothered to try and meditate, concentrate on breathing, etc. before sleep, and I just crashed. Ended my recall spree of 1 or more semi-vivid dreams a night. |
|
4/25 - Yes! Best night I've had since joining DV. Got pretty close to WILD or DILD or something twice last night. |

4/26 - I am an idiot. I am a total dumbass. |

Reading through your journal, you have definatly made improvements! |
|
Thanks for that. =) |
|
Edit: It seems my journal is a hot topic now. O_o |

4/29 - I remembered at least 5 different ones when I woke up, but over the 12 hours I've been awake. I need to start waking up 20 minutes early to record it. Not that I could use my internal clock because it varies by over 20 minutes. |

4/30 - Memory of last night had fewer fragments than recently. |

5/1 - After about 2 weeks of trying to WBTB, I manage to MILD on the first try. |

5/2 - I suppose I shouldn't be disappointed; I've heard of people not getting lucid again for weeks after the first time. |

5/3 - I'm having a lot of trouble falling asleep lately. I'm gonna try and buy one of those tempur-pedic mattress cover things. Less sleep seems to equal less recall. =/ |

5/5 - My internal clock seems like it's run on a hand crank by a retard who occasionally gets sugar high. |

5/6 - That dream was incredibly long and vivid. I've never had anything nearly that long. |
|
5/7 - I need to make more detailed notes in my written DJ when I first wake up. I don't remember as much as I did. |
|
5/8 - I don't even remember sleeping last night, much less dreaming. I was rolling around trying to get comfortable, when all of a sudden it was 7 in the morning. I rolled over and slept until 10, and had a few dreams. |
|
5/9 - Deja vu. I feel like I wrote this already. Maybe I dreamed about it. |
